SKHYB: Reducing Collateral Factor Ahead of Supply Cap Increase

SKHYB has consistently hit its 100% supply cap, showing strong demand from the community during the current incentive campaign. To support continued growth, we’re proposing to raise the supply cap again — from 4,000 to 4,500 SKHYB.

Since the cap has already been raised multiple times (1,250 → 4,000), increasing it further at the current 50% Collateral Factor (CF) would add more risk than we’re comfortable with. So we’re proposing to first reduce SKHYB’s CF to 30%, then raise the cap once that change is in effect.

Sequencing:

  1. CF reduces from 50% → 30%, effective 6 hours after execution (cooldown period).
  2. Supply cap increases from 4,000 → 4,500 SKHYB once the cooldown ends.

Action required for users who have set SKHYB as collateral: A lower CF means less borrowing power against your SKHYB collateral.

This change only affects the Collateral Factor, not the Liquidation Threshold — existing borrow positions are not at risk of liquidation as a result of this change. The practical effect is that you’ll have less borrowing power against SKHYB collateral going forward: once the CF drops, you won’t be able to borrow more or redeem SKHYB collateral beyond the new, lower limit. If you plan to borrow further or redeem SKHYB collateral, you have a 6-hour window to do so before the change takes effect.
