[BNB Chain] SKHYB — Supply Cap Increase to 6,500

SKHYB has been at 100% of its 5,500 supply cap since 6 August, when the previous increase filled within roughly eight hours. We’re proposing to raise the supply cap from 5,500 to 6,500 SKHYB. Unlike the previous adjustment, the collateral factor is left unchanged at 25%, so this proposal is a capacity increase only and does not change the terms of any existing position.

Proposed Changes

Asset Pool Parameter Current Proposed
SKHYB Core Supply cap 5,500 SKHYB 6,500 SKHYB

Notes

  • The collateral factor stays at 25% and the liquidation threshold stays at 65%. No account’s borrowing power, health factor or liquidation status changes as a result of this proposal, and no position becomes repay-only.
  • Because the collateral factor is unchanged, the maximum debt that can be borrowed against SKHYB collateral rises in proportion to the cap — roughly +18%, from about $189k to about $223k at the current oracle price. This differs from the two previous adjustments, which paired each cap increase with a collateral factor reduction in order to hold that figure flat.
  • Borrowing SKHYB remains paused. The market is collateral-only.
  • The change is applied through the Risk Steward. An increase of this size is within the Risk Steward’s permitted range for supply caps, so it takes effect on publication with no cooldown period.
