We’ve been notified by Chainlink that they will discontinue the SXP/USD price feed on BNB Chain on May 11, 2026, citing deteriorating SXP liquidity. This feed is the sole oracle for the vSXP market on Venus Core, and no replacement is available.
What this means
The vSXP market has been paused for some time — no new supply or borrow has been possible. However, if you still have an open position, you need to act before May 11. Once the price feed goes offline, the market will become unpriceable, and you may no longer be able to withdraw your supplied SXP or repay your borrow.
Venus Protocol will not be responsible for any remaining funds left in the pool that cannot be withdrawn past May 11, as this market has been paused for some time, and ample time has been provided for users to withdraw their funds from this market.
What you need to do
- Supplied SXP? Withdraw your position now at [link to vSXP market].
- Borrowed SXP? Repay your debt now at [link to vSXP market].
Do not wait until close to the deadline. We strongly recommend acting as soon as possible.

Current market state
As of April 29, 2026:
- Total supplied: $342.44 (274.9K SXP)
- Total borrowed: $30.35 (24.36K SXP)
The number of affected users is small, but if you are one of them, this is time-sensitive.
