Venus is preparing for the launch of the Venus Reward Token, a platform token designed to be the gas of the protocol with direct utility. XVS will now reduce its emissions accordingly ahead of the launch by 50%, reducing the total emissions now substantially less than originally planned in the Venus White Paper .
Holders should vote on this proposal as this will now reduce the amount of daily XVS being inflated into all markets.
This proposal will be one of many components of the V2 full launch for Venus and the massive burn reduction of the supply.
