Before the VAI vault launched, VAI minters would earn a part of the XVS distribution for borrowing VAI on the protocol. It would be nice to see this feature come back so all of the VAI isn’t strictly locked on the Venus vault and people are incentivized to move it elsewhere when more places accept it.
Not sure what percentage of the VAI staking APY this should be, but we could have a discussion here to determine something fair for stakers and minters, I propose 50% of the VAI staking APY goes to VAI minters who don’t have their VAI staked in the vault.
