No able to confirm the spending cap

Hi community,
For few days, I am not able anymore to confirm any spendinc cap on Venus Protocol. I use Metamask and a Ledger to do it. The Ethereum app is open. The blind signing is enabled. I have got the gas… But the button Confirm stays grey…no blue…no able to press it. I can supply, I can withdrawal, I can do anything anymore
Do you have an idea why ?

If the “Confirm” button stays greyed out when trying to approve a spending cap with MetaMask + Ledger, but other actions like supply/withdraw work, it’s usually caused by a signing issue between MetaMask and the Ledger device. Here are a few things you can try:

  • Reconnect your Ledger

    • Unplug it, close MetaMask, reconnect the device and open the Ethereum app again.

  • Make sure Blind Signing is enabled

    • On your Ledger: Settings → Blind signing → Enabled.

  • Clear and reset MetaMask connection to Ledger

    • In MetaMask:

      • Settings → Connected devices → Remove your Ledger
      • Then reconnect it via Connect Hardware Wallet again.

  • Use Ledger Live bridge (if using Chrome)

    • In MetaMask settings → Advanced → Enable “Use Ledger Live”
    • Then open Ledger Live and approve the connection.

  • Update firmware + MetaMask

    • Make sure your Ledger firmware, Ethereum app, and MetaMask extension are fully updated.

:warning: If it still doesn’t work

Sometimes this is just a MetaMask UI bug. Try:

  • Switching browser or computer temporarily
  • Trying a different network (like BNB Chain test transaction) to see if it signs at all
  • Using Rabby Wallet which works very well with Ledger

Let us know if any of this works — once the signing issue is fixed, the Confirm button will turn blue again :blue_heart:
