0x1C2CAc6ec528c20800B2fe734820D87b581eAA6B). - Enable the future withdrawal of any remaining funds from the WBNBBurnConverter once ownership transfer is complete.
Description:
This community post outlines two operational updates proposed for Venus, focused on continued collaboration with ecosystem partners and completing follow-up actions related to the cessation of the BNB burn mechanism.
Context and Rationale:
1. Flashloan Whitelist Update (Chainlink OEV)
As part of Venus’ ongoing cooperation with Chainlink to support Oracle Extractable Value (OEV), Chainlink has requested that an additional address be added to the Venus flashloan whitelist:
- Address:
0x82aC8c837E31D47c6508CBfD4c1627F04dDe5298 - Role: Chainlink OEV Searcher
This address is operated by Chainlink and will be used to leverage Venus flashloans to perform liquidations within the OEV framework. Whitelisting this address enables these liquidation flows while preserving protocol-level safeguards.
This request follows earlier coordination with Chainlink to enable OEV-related functionality on Venus.
2. WBNBBurnConverter Ownership Transfer
Following the decision to discontinue the Venus BNB Burn (as described in the prior community post), the WBNBBurnConverter contract is no longer required for active burn operations.
To complete this transition, ownership of the WBNBBurnConverter contract will be transferred back to Venus’ multisig:

Once ownership has been transferred, the remaining funds held in the WBNBBurnConverter will be withdrawn at a later date.
