I encourage @chaoslabs and Venus community to double down on the proposal for deploying Venus on Rootstock.
This recent announcement regarding the WBTC custody highlight the importance of secure, decentralized solutions for Bitcoin in DeFi. The RBTC (Rootstock’s native token) presents a compelling alternative in this case:
- RBTC is pegged 1:1 with BTC and secured by Bitcoin’s PoW via merged mining, eliminating concerns about centralized custody.
- Users can leverage their BTC while maintaining Bitcoin’s security and decentralization. They can expanding BTC utility through RBTC on Venus.
- It’s a great option that caters both Bitcoiners and DeFi users, creating a synergy that benefits both communities. Eventually it may attract more users and tapping into a vast liquidity market.
