This proposal strengthens the price feeds behind eight BNB Chain Core Pool markets. Six of them rely on a single price source today; each gains a second, independent one. The remaining two move onto a more manipulation-resistant class of feed.
Background
The four tokenized-stock markets price from Atlas alone, with no second source. slisBNB likewise prices from a single redemption-rate path. asBNB does have a second source, but it is served by Binance Oracle, which is being retired β this is the last active Venus market still depending on that vendor. SolvBTC and xSolvBTC are priced correctly today, but lean on market-price feeds for assets whose value is defined by a redemption rate, a thinner and more manipulable input than the rate itself.
APRO is an independent oracle provider on BNB Chain whose feeds for the four tokenized-stock assets have been deployed and reviewed, making it available as the second source those markets currently lack.
Proposed Changes
A dash (β) means the slot is unchanged. Changed slots read before β after. The agreement band is how far the main price may sit from the pivot before pricing halts.
| Market | Main | Pivot | Fallback | Agreement band |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SKHYB (SK Hynix) | β (Atlas) | none β APRO | β | none β Β±5% |
| NVDAB (NVIDIA) | β (Atlas) | none β APRO | β | none β Β±5% |

| asBNB | β | Binance β Atlas | β | β (Β±5%) |

Summary
If approved, this VIP will:
- Add a second, independent price source to the six markets that lack one, and set the agreement band against which each main price is checked
- Remove the protocolβs last active dependency on the retiring Binance Oracle
- Move SolvBTC and xSolvBTC onto exchange-rate feeds, retire a SolvBTC feed that no longer publishes, and tighten SolvBTCβs band from 5% to 2%
- Extend the Oracle Guardianβs existing emergency price-pinning permission to the Atlas and APRO oracles, so a faulty main price can be corrected without waiting on a governance delay
Collateral factors, borrow and supply caps, interest rate models and every other market parameter are unchanged. No user action is required. Full contract addresses and call details are in the VIP voting proposal and the GitHub PR.
