Basic set up to EARN & LOAN USDT/ USDC?

Looking to move metamask / ledger wallet USDT / USDC into venus for simple EARN stake or lending.
(1. Is a cold wallet tied to metamask a problem?
(2. do I keep my private keys? ( I assume yes)…

  1. Using a cold wallet with Metamask is secure, but it is a third part service so you may have privacy concerns.

  2. Yes but be careful with sites/contracts you approve.

Venus or not Venus, your keys are the same and you won’t have to provide them. Moving tokens to Venus is similar to transfering tokens: you command the deposit to Venus, you validate with Metamask (and sign with Ledger if used). That’s it.
